“Heroes of a Nation” – A documentary that narrates the story of a generation of all-star players who played the leading role in the biggest red and black ball the world has ever witnessed, the Zico Era. A fascinating work, not only for Flamengo fans but also ALL soccer lovers, aired on Globosat Channels SPORTV and CANAL BRASIL, with high ratings and over 25,000 units sold as home video. A total of 52 minutes showing the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo soccer team in the 80’s, the Zico Era. The work portrays many of the touching moments lived by the group.

From the moment it was created until its rise to fame as one of the most outstanding soccer teams ever, they dominated Brazilian soccer for years. The documentary shows interviews with Zico and other soccer stars who were part of that wonderful team, focusing especially on the group that won the 1981 Club World Cup, in Tokyo, Japan. Among the interviewees, players, journalists, artists, and other names who have made history.
